Seduced into debt

Seduced into debt Whilst many of us worry about being mugged or burgled, there are many people dealing with debt as a result of being misled by love.

The cash via your heart scams are on the increase and many are letting their hearts rule their heads when it comes to romance.

Daniel Rothwaite from Kent was desperate to find the love of his life and thought that all of his dreams had come true when he met Daria on a Russian dating site. He was so desperate to meet her that he took out a loan for £10,000 so as she could buy a visa and a ticket to England. He waited excitedly at Heathrow airport for her but she never turned up.

He then signed up to a Christian dating site, convinced that God-fearing Christians would never do such an awful thing. He met Olga from Sweden who was everything that he could wish for and more. Daniel took out another loan to pay for Olga to come to England and waited anxiously at Heathrow airport but she never turned up.

Daniel has now learnt his lesson even though he is £15000 in debt. He has had to re-mortgage his home and borrow money from his mother to pay for his mistakes. His mother is also in debt as she had to take out a loan to stay afloat, whilst helping her son out.

Internet fraud is on the increase and costs the UK over £20 billion each year. Dating websites and chat rooms are a haven for fraudsters who start online relationships with the intention of luring unsuspecting victims into debt.

The amount of debt Daniel is now in from internet fraud is enough to qualify him for an IVA, or as a last resort, Bankruptcy. When the debt gets so impossbily high that it can't all be repaided, the only soltuion is insolvency. For more insolvency advice, contact a trustworthy Debt management company like Debt Free Direct.
